PORCELAIN PLANT FOR NEW LEXINGTON, O.

 

Letters of incorporation were issued by the Secretary of the State of Ohio on Saturday to the New Lexington High Voltage Porcelain Co., incorporators, P. W. Newton, G. S. Courtwright, John G. MacDougal, A. Garlinger, C. A. Donahue; capital stock, $50,000. W. [sic] A. S. Watts, of Columbus, who is to be general manager of the new plant, is said to be a practical man and expert in that line.

The company will manufacture porcelain electric light insulators which will fine ready sale throughout the country. It is expected to start the plant and give employment to 25 hands at least, and to increase the number as the goods are placed on the market. The clays that go chiefly to the manufacture of these goods must be obtained from outside the country.
