The H. W. Johns-Manville company of New York city has been incorporated, with a capital of $3,000,000 to manufacture pipe and boiler coverings and non-conducting and insulating materials. Thomas Ewing, Henry F. Ballantyne, Ernest W. Davenport, Robert Dickson, Henderson A. Wolfe, Edwin T. Ross, Ferdinand W. Knolhoff and Harris S. Barrough of New York city and William W. Orr, J. Warren Thayer and M. B. Thayer of Scarsdale are directors. This company is a consolidation of the H. W. Johns Manufacturing company of New York city and the Manville Covering company of Milwaukee.
