The Star Porcelain Co., one of the new electrical plants at Trenton, N. J., was the defendant in a suit started last week by the General Electric Co., of Schenectady, N. Y. Papers alleging infringement of patents on machinery for making electric light sockets were filed in the United States Circuit Court and a rule to show cause why a perpetual injunction should not be issued, was allowed and made returnable Nov. 3. Julius C. Founier, of Schenectady, is said to have been the inventor of the patents.
