H. W. Johns Manville is making a pamphlet on gaskets

BUSINESS.

The H. W. Johns-Manville Company of New York city is mailing a small pamphlet on Kearsarge flange- joint gaskets. The commendable features of these gaskets, according to the maker, are their ability to withstand the highest temperature and pressure; elasticity sufficient to compensate for expansion and contraction; in themselves they are not subject to expansion and contraction, due to temperature changes; they will maintain a tight joint against vibration of the line and will prevent leakage of steam or condensation. Another important product of the company is Asbestocel sectional pipe covering, which is described in a separate circular.
