Following the custom of several years past the branch managers and salesmen of the H. W. Johns-Manville Company met in New York last week for their annual convention and banquet. About 150 men were present. The object of the convention was for the purpose of general discussions in reference to the business of the company and to enable the various representatives to get acquainted with one another. After sessions lasting four days the convention wound up with a farewell dinner at the New York Athletic Club on Friday evening, February 2d. The H. W. Johns-Manville Company is well known as a manufacturer of asbestos and magnesia products and electrical materials. Representatives were present from the branches in Milwaukee, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Pittsburg, Cleveland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Little Rock and New Orleans. The headquarters of the company are in New York city.
