The Thomas China Company is rapidly nearing completion and expects to be in operation in about a week. Managing Director Keates returned from the East recently, accompanied by Mr. F. B. Wright, a well-known molder from Messrs. Mintons, the great china firm of Stoke-on-Trent, England, and we shall endeavor to surpass everything in our line hitherto made in this country, both as to design and decorations. A specialty will be made of underglaze decorations and hand-painted toilettes. The decorating department will be under the direct supervision of Mr. Keates himself, supported by Colin W. Evans, a well-known artist, of Trenton, N. J. Every effort has been made to make the above plant one of the most complete in the country, and neither time or money has been spared to obtain this result. The Thomas China Co. |
