THE ELECTRIC PORCELAIN COMPANY, East Liverpool, Ohio, began on November 4 the manufacture of high-grade vitreous porcelain tubes, woking at present with one kiln. The company has contracted for an additional kiln, which it is expected will be ready for use by the end of the year, at which time the manufacture of cleats, rosettes and other porcelain insulators, will be taken up. William Erlanger is president, Harry W. Peach, secretary and treasurer, and Samuel C. Dyke, supertintendent of the new company.
