THE THOMAS CHINA COMPANY

Lisbon, O., Feb. 12. - The Thomas China Co. drew their first kiln of decorated ware on last Wednesday. It turned out excellently and they were well pleased with the result. They are pushing things in every department as rapidly as possible. Everything is working admirably and they are turning out a superior semi-vitreous porcelain body.

They have already sent out samples to several large dealers, some of whom have had a life-time experience handling ware, and they have received in reply a number of very flattering testimonials of the high merit of their goods. One large and well known dealer in particular said they must have patterned after the Havilands, so closely did their ware resemble the fine china bearing that trade mark. The shapes are all exquisitely and tastefully modeled and the finish and uniformity of the ware is strikingly evident.

The company are taking the greatest care to have it correct in every particular and do not propose to put out anything before it has passed the most rigid and searching inspection. The decorations are all new and the patterns different from anything used by any other concern.

They are making a specialty of under-glaze print and the patterns they have used so far are beauties. They cannot fail to please the trade.

They expect to put full lines of dinner and toilet ware on the market in about two weeks. They have a beautiful white body and the quality is of the highest grade known and is backed up by the firm's guarantee.
