PASS & SEYMOUR, Syracuse, N. Y., have moved into their new factory, which is located within 20 ft. of the New York Central Railroad tracks. A spur from the Central Railroad runs along the whole southern side of the factory, giving convenient loading and unloading facilities. The building is three stories high and is provided with a fire-proof vault in which the dies are stored so that in case of the destruction of the factory by fire the dies would be preserved intact and the manufacture could be resumed within a short time. All of the Pass & Seymour specialties are made here, and the firm manufacture every piece of each specialty. The fact that the firm's business has increased 400 percent, within the last two years is convincing evidence of the character of its product.
