D. M. Steward is exporting lava insulators

BUSINESS NEWS.

D. M. STEWARD MANUFACTURING COMPANY, Chattanooga, Tenn., states that lava is coming into general use in connection with gas engines for insulating igniter plugs. It is said to give good results under 225 to 250 ignitions per minute, with a temperature of 2800 degrees at each ignition. The company is exporting lava insulators in large quantites to Germany and other European countries.
