CONVENTION NOTES.

The exhibits at the convention were few in number, as compared with other conventions. Through the courtesy, however, of Mr. H. C. Burch, the manager of the Ebbitt House, a room had been fitted up in the hotel for the accomodation of such exhibitors as wished to display samples and light appratus. Some interesting exhibits were shown.

H. W. JOHNS MANUFACTURING COMPANY, New York, was well represented by Mr. H. G. Issertel. Samples of a new tree insulator were shown, and printed matter was distributed.
