679,544. Insulator for Electric Wires. John E. Sharpe, Oneida, N. Y., assignor of one-half to Newton D. Bartle, Guilford, N. Y. Application filed May 17, 1901.

Am insulator body is provided with a plate disposed to receive between it and the body the wire to be fastened thereto, and a clamp embraces the body and plate and compresses the parts upon the interposed wire. (see cut.)
