Special insulators and rolls from Hartmann & Braun, Frankfurt a. M.-Bockenheim. The double or triple bell insulators normally used for high voltages and for laying cables in damp rooms take up a relatively large amount of space. The Hartmann & Braun company therefore recommends the use of its cellar insulators, which can easily be mounted on the ceiling, in mines, etc. in cases where the required space is not available, e.g. in the cooling cellars of large breweries, because of the cooling pipes attached to the ceilings. They take up little space and have a high insulation resistance. For normal cable laying on walls, the high-voltage rolls also manufactured by the company mentioned can be used instead of the insulators.

Both insulators and rollers are manufactured in three sizes, of which Figs. 27 and 28 and 29 and 30 show the middle type in 1/2 its natural size. Figs. 27 and 28 are intended for cemented bolts, Figs. 29 and 30 for through-bolts. The construction is easily apparent from the figures. The company also states that a particular advantage of both forms is the possibility of easy cleaning.
