Lava Insulators.

The D. M. Steward Manufacturing Company, of Cincinnati, has now been reorganized under the laws of the State of Tennessee, with a largely increased capital. It has erected permanent factory buildings of large capacity at Chattanooga, and has removed thither its office and works. A number of machines have been added, which will more than quadruple the product, and the company is now nearer its base of supplies, thus avoiding delays on account of shortage of the material from which its well known lava electric insulators, etc., are made. Mr. D. M. Steward is the president and treasurer of the company; J. P. Richardson, vice-president, and M. L. Chapman, secretary.
