SAN FRANCISCO, Cal., March 20, 1888.
San Jose
The San Jose electric road had a car running on the 16th inst. The speed made was 12 miles an hour. Mr. Fisher, who put in the plant, had charge of the test. Everything worked satisfactorily. Another item from San Jose is that the local company has just obtained underground franchises.
