Shay, Stevens [sic] Stephens & Co., Chicago, find their No. 12 porcelain insulator with wide base meets with the approval of electrical engineers everywhere, and their double-petticoated glass insulators are largely in demand on account of the deep, low-set groove which enables the lineman to secure a perfect tie.
