Miniature Glass Plant At Fair.


INCLUDED in the exhibit of the Owens-Illinois Glass Company, Toledo, Ohio, in its glass-block building at A Century of Progress, Chicago, is an elaborate animated model of a complete glass plant in operation. This intricate display was worked out in realistic perspective and with life-like carved models by T. K. Almroth, advertising manager of the company, and built under his supervision.

The model is full of color and motion with astonishing lighting effects. It represents the modern bottle manufacturing process and is complete in almost every detail from the arrival and handling of the incoming raw materials to
