Another Hemingray Tank.

Muncie, Ind., May 30. — The boys' strike at the Hemingray's is virtually at an end, most all of the boys returning to work. Rumor has it that the day tank in the insulator department will be let out this week for repairs.

Work on the new gas producer tank was commenced last week and will be completed for next fire. This is the second tank added this year to the largest insulator factory in the country. By the beginning of next fire all anticipated improvements will be completed. Then Hemingray will be second only to the fantastic Ball Bros. plant.

The Magic City Fishing Club has selected Lake Manato [sic] Manitou, Rochester, Ind. They expect to leave here on July 3 in a special car. The boys, 16 in number, are making extensive preparations for their summer outing and there is little doubt but that they will have good times with Peter Concannon, Harry Newman [sic] Neurman, and August Ernest at the helm. Of course Cotton Sullivan, Jas. Kerby [sic] Kirby, and Sam Bird will see that the turtle nets and fishing tackle are all in good order.

Thomas Murray, who has been on the sick list with inflammatory rheumatism, is slowly improving. Peter Tracey worked his week's notice and departed for Findlay, O.
