Every manufacturer in Muncie should be present at the meeting at the rink this evening to the end that the exposition to be held next week will be a success in every respect. With the many and varied manufacturing industries which our magical city contains, there is no reason why an extensive and interesting exhibit cannot be made. On Tuesday next one of the largest excursions of Eastern capitalists and manufacturers that had yet visited the Indiana gas belt, will arrive in Muncie, where they will remain a few days investigating our natural gas and other resources with a view to investing in real estate and the establishing of manufacturing concerns. A good display of the products of our manufactories, which are all operated with the fuel which comes forth so bountifully from the Trenton rock, will be to the visitors a sight well worth seeing, one about which they will talk to their friends and associates when they return to their homes, and which per chance may be an incentive to many of them to locate here where they can enjoy the benefits of the benefits of free fuel along with those who have been so fortunate as to have already so. · · [Missing text] · · |
