ELEGANT DANCING PARTY

BY MISS HEMINGRAY

Delightful Event in Honor of Miss Ried, of Rochester, N.Y.

Miss Lewellen [sic] Llewellyn Hemingray's dancing party Wednesday evening for Miss Marian Ried, of Rochester, N.Y., was a very pretty function, at which good cheer and genuine hospitality predominated. Miss Hemingray deviated from the usual custom by securing the commodious hall in the Heath iron building instead of entertaining at her home.

She was assisted in receiving by her father, Mr. Ralph Hemingray and by Mr. and Mrs. Rush Evans.

Dancing was enjoyed until long after midnight and the two-step and waltz music was encored time and again. A delicious three-course collation was admirably served by Caterer Hummell at some small tables scattered about the hall. During the evening the hostess and her guests were very agreeably surprised by the appearance of Miss Carrol [sic] Carroll Hemingray, who came from Cincinnati on a late train.
