WIDOW OF MUNCIE INDUSTRIALIST DIES Mrs. Ralph G. Hemingray Ill For Long Time.
Mrs. Eva Hollinger Hemingray, widow of Ralph G. Hemingray, late president of the Hemingray Glass Company, died at 8 a.m. Friday at her apartment in the Delaware Hotel after an extended illness. For many years Mrs. Hemingray resided at 824 E. Washington St. Born in Terre Haute, the daughter of Martin and Eva Mary Fischer Hollinger, pioneers of Terre Haute, she was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church and active in the Visiting Nurse Association activities, of which she was one of the founders. Mrs. Hemingray was interested in travel, youth education, and political science. Surviving are three nephews, Fred M. Crapo of Muncie, John R. Crapo of Terre Haute, and George S. Crapo of Philadelphia, and an aunt, Mrs. Alice Fischer Harcourt, of New York City. The body was removed to the Meeks mortuary and funeral services will be announced later. |
