Richard Galbraith Evans, aged 47, secretary of the H.J. Heinz Co., died at his home, 505 South Highland avenue, Pittsburg, last Sunday morning. Mr. Evans was a native of Covington, Ky., and came to Pittsburg about 15 years ago. He had been actively engaged in business pursuits ever since. He was a member of the Duquesne and Country Clubs of Pittsburg and the Calumet and Phoenix Clubs of New York; also of the Hemingray Glass Co., of Covington. He is survived by his wife and one child. The funeral was held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and was largely attended. The floral offerings were elaborate. |
