A Pleasant Party.
The entertainment at the residence of Mrs. Ralph C. Gray, by her accomplished daughter Miss Tutie, last evening, was one of the social events of the season, and a revival of the former glories of the Elite Club to whom the party was given. Among the ladies were Miss La Fond Palmer, of Richmond, Va., attired in white satin, with diamonds; Miss Ida Hudson, in blue satin, with diamonds; Miss Lulu Wright, in white silk, with pearls; Miss Lillie Worthington, in pink silk, with diamonds; Miss Clemmie Abbott, in pink satin, with diamonds; Miss Sallie Casey, in white silk, with pearls; Miss Vick, of Mississippi, in white satin, with diamonds; Miss Sadie Shade, of Clifton, in cream-colored satin, with corals; Miss L. Gillis, sky-blue silk, cameo ornaments; Miss Katie King, white Swiss, pearls; Miss Jessie Bouren, canary-colored satin, cameo; Miss Ella Kerr, light silk, pearls; Miss Mamie Cooper, white satin, diamonds; Miss Lutie [sic] Tutie Gray, gold-colored satin, diamonds; Miss Mamie Ingram, white silk, pearls. |
