Miss Janie Thompson was the charming hostess of the Afternoon Card Club Tuesday at her home on Garrard Street. After a very marry game pretty trophies were presented to the winners and a dainty luncheon was served. Among the guests were: Mesdames Edwin Gale, Graddy Kennedy, Fred Powers, Charles Osborne, Charles Warrington, Misses Llewellyn Hemingray, Marie Simrall, Josie D. Hastings, Edith Brennen, Ethel Carruthers, Drue Underwood, Harriet and Grace Collins, Elsie Laidley, Nellie Louise Hood, Eloise Cleary, Edith Noonan, Mabel and Martha Southgate.
