The most brilliant social function of the week will be the marriage of Miss Sparke Hastings and Mr. Marcom, on Wednesday evening, at the First Baptist Church. The bridal party will include Mrs. Fred Powers, matron of honor; Misses Llewellyn Hemingray, Katherine Hamilton, Harriet Collins, and Josie D. Hastings; Messrs. Randolph Shinkle [sic] Schindel, as best man; Stewart Hastings, Mr. Marcom, Lanham Robertson, and Barton Simrall, as ushers. Following the ceremony, which will be performed by Rev. Dr. Daniel, will be held an informal reception at the residence of the bride for the relatives and bridal party.
