St. Mark's Grammar School.

 

The tenth year opens Monday, August 28th, with the same corps of eleven teachers as last year. Miss Cole continues in charge of the primary and intermediate departments, and Miss Van Rensselner, preceptoress of the grammar department. The whole school will have the benefit of Mrs. Haydon's effective instruction in vocal music.

In the classical department, boys are grounded in Latin and Greek and prepared for college. The school is furnished with a gymnasium and philosophical apparatus. An additional room, well ventilated and convenient, has been fitted up for the grammar pupils. Those desiring to enter pupils, apply to the Rev. G. D. B. Miller, head master.
