BESIDES the fifteen-pot Nicholson furnace being erected at McKee Bros., there is one being put in at a factory in Cincinnati, making the third furnace in that city. While it is true that the cost of this style of furnace is greater than any other kind in general use it is claimed that its comparatively small consumption of fuel and enduring qualities more than make up for the difference.

IF the weather continues favorable the new fifteen-pot Nicholson gas furnace being built at McKee Bros. factory, Southside, will be ready to be put in blast by the first of May. It will be the largest furnace of the kind ever built in this city, and being of the Nicholson make it may be considered one of the best. This furnace will have a capacity of 168,000 pounds of glass per week.
