The above cut shows the Hetherington-Baker Automatic, Interlocking Insulator, patented by Bert Hetherington, of Everest. Mr. Hetherington planned a model in his mind one day when he saw telephone wires lossened from the insulator. Men who know predict that the new insulator will revolutionize the building of telephone and telegraph lines. The Bell people are said to be angling for the new insulator. Five thousand of them will be delivered in Atchison next week by a porcelain manufacturing plant of Macomb, Ill.
