LOCKE INSULATOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY, Victor, N. Y., has a display of high-tension insulators in the exhibit of the Wesco Supply Company, of St. Louis. These insulators are of all sizes, from the smallest telephone insulators to one of 17 inches in diameter and 15 inches high. The latter insulator is designed for working voltages of 80,000 volts and consists of an umbrella-shaped porcelain top surmounting three porcelain petticoats which prevent discharges to the pin.
