Boys Remain on Strike

STRIKE IS STILL ON.

Hemingray Factory Trouble Not Settled —

Both Sides Holding On.

The strike at the Hemingray flint glass factory still hangs. A portion of the factory is in operation as usual. The majority of the strikers are still idle, while some of them have gone to work elsewhere. A few have returned to work, but not a sufficient number to cripple the striking forces. It is believed that the boys will remain out, or the majority of them, and that the factory management will soon have the plant equipped with another force of employees. The strikers are acting manfully. They scarcely come about the factory and when they do there is no trouble threatened. The management is still persistent in that the demand increase will not be granted and the strikers seem to be satisfied with their stand and are going to keep it.
