Resumes Operations After Summer Shut-Down

TUESDAY MORNING The Hemingray Glass Works Will Be Started. The First Glass Industry To Be Placed In Operation After the Vacation - Other Factories To Start. This morning Robt. Hemingray informed a HERALD man that the Hemingray Glass Co., would start one furnace Tuesday morning. This is cheering news to the glass workers as it means that all the furnaces in the large factory will be placed in operation before many days roll by. The furnace will be in readiness to blow glass by Tuesday. Hemingray's is the first of Muncie's many glass factories to start since the annual summer vacation and from appearances it is evident that the Messrs. Hemingray are not affected in the least by the financial stringency.
