Officers Elected by the Convention

After a Ten-Day Session.


Zanesville, O., July 21. — The twenty-first annual convention of the American Flint Glassworkers' Union was concluded to-day, after a ten days' session, during which much important business was transacted. Officers elected to-day to serve during the ensuing year are:

President, W. J. Smith, Pittsburg; vice president, Thomas Smart, Alton, Illinois; secretary, John Kunzeley, Pittsburg; assistant secretary, M. J. Clare, Pittsburg; agent and organizer, T. W. Rowe, Toledo, O.; delegate to American Federation of Labor, F. C. Dickins, Pittsburg; executive board prescription branch, Jno. A. Noll, Zanesville; Samuel Stanclift, Elwood, Ind., James McGinnis, Philadelphia, and Wm. E. Overs, Cairo, Pa.

George Meacham, of Montreal, was chosen a member of the union from the Canada district.

The next convention will be held in Muncie, Ind.
