Resolutions of Respect.

 

The following resolutions have been passed by L. U. 23, A. F. G. W. U., of Muncie, Ind.:

WHEREAS, The many friends of Noah Bird will learn with deep sorrow of his death which occurred Nov. 16 at Covington, Ky., he having worked for the Hemingray Glass Co. for 35 years; and

Whereas, He was of that true, earnest, gifted, and generous nature that caused all who knew him to love him and to name him was to praise, our loss is indeed heavy, and he will be also most sincerely missed outside our union and his home circle; therefore be it

Resolved, That while the heavy shadow is upon our union we expect the light to break through and look forward to the happy reunion beyond, and we offer to the bereaved wife and family our tenderest sympathy knowing well how little consolation mere words can convey to the aching heart; and be it further

Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon our minute book and a copy presented to the bereaved family.
