NIGHT FOREMAN DEAD.


One of the Oldest Employees of the Hemingrays

Passed Away.


Noah Bird, who up to about nine weeks ago was foreman of the Hemingray glass factory of this city, died at Covington, Ky., Thursday. Dropsy was the cause of his death. For about thirty years he has been associated with the Hemingrays in the glass business. Until failing heath caused him to resign he was night foreman. The funeral services over the remains will be held at Covington, Sunday afternoon. This morning Thomas Murray went to Covington as one of a party of five sent from local No. 33. Tonight John Butler, George Matheson [sic] Mathison, Thomas Carroll, Michael Carey, and Peter Concannon will go to Covington to attend the funeral.
