Delicate Operation May be Done to

Save the Man's Life.

John Dodd, who was stabbed in the head and body by Larry Carey a few weeks ago, is very low at the city hos­pital, and his death is not unexpected by the physicians in charge. It is claimed that the knife wielded by Car­ey partially severed an Artery in Dodd's head, and that this place struck by the knife, being weaker than other por­tions of the artery, has developed an aneurismal tumor. This tumor is grad­ually growing, although the physicians are endeavoring to reduce it by pressure. It is possible that a delicate op­eration will be performed to save Dodd's life.
